Back in 1947...

Wade and Viola Litten opened a small jewelry store in the quaint railroad town of Gibsonville, North Carolina. Alongside fine jewelry and expert repairs, Wade's also carried everyday essentials like crockpots, microwaves, and crystal serveware, quickly becoming the community's one-stop shop.

A Legacy Is Born...

From the very beginning, Wade Litten believed that exceptional customer service was just as important as the jewelry itself. He built the business on the simple principle of treating every customer with care, honesty, and respect while helping them celebrate life's most meaningful moments.

Nearly 80 years later, those same values continue to guide Wade's Jewelers. With its iconic clocktower overlooking downtown Gibsonville, Wade's has become more than just a jewelry store—it's a cornerstone of the community and a trusted destination for generations of families.

Visit our southport location

In 2017, Wades opened their second location in the little retirement town of Southport, NC. Featuring incredible oceanfront views and a small but close-knit, generous community, Southport breathes life into all who visit.
